PROGRAM DETAILS:

A dental treatment camp was organised and conducted at the venue-SRM DENTAL COLLEGE by us with the permission granted from the DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY,SRM Dental college Ramapuram The camp was held on 10/1/23. Complete guidence was given by the interns and staffs. The respective interns left the college at 9am and brought the patients by 10.30am. Transport was provided to bring the students. The camp was started at 11am and continued till 1.30pm at respective college premises. A total number of 48 students were screened and treated from the class of 5  between the age group of 9 to 11 years. Around 20 students were treated by the department of pedodontics , 28 students were treated by the department of public health dentistry. Oral health instruction were given by us to the students. The session concluded by treating all the patients who came for the turnover camp.

ELEMENTS OF OUR CAMP:

 Oral hygiene instruction and brushing techniques explained to all the patients in the camp.

 After the demonstration, the patients were made to imitate the brushing techniques

 Oral screening was completed for all the patients who attended the camp.

 All queries regarding the brushing techinque and oral hygiene were explained individually to the patient in detail.
