DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY, SRM DENTAL COLLEGE, RAMAPURAM conducted the World Cancer Day program, in PRIVARAM CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE in collaboration with Kalpavriksham trust on Feb 4th, 2023. The camp was conducted as a small initiative to save millions of preventable deaths by raising awareness and education about cancer. Oral screening was done for all the participants who attented the program. Oral hygiene instructions and brushing techniques was demonstrated for all the participants who attended the program. Harmful effects of tobacco and Oral cancer awareness was given. All queries regarding their oral health was explained individually in detail. We would like to thank The Honourable Chairman Sir and Respected Dean Sir, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram for supporting us and making this event success.
