Thursday (10/11/2022)- The dental screening was done for all the patients who attended the
camp. Out of 70, 30 patients were screened in the Department of Public Health Dentistry, 30
patients were screened in the Department of Periodontics and 10 patients were screened in
the Department of orthodontics.
Wednesday (04/01/2023)- Out of 60, 20 patients were screened in the Department of Public
Health Dentistry, 10 patients were screened in the Department of Orthodontics , 20 patients
were screened in the Department of Periodontics and 10 patients were screened in the
department of Pedodontics.
Preventive treatments like pit and fissure sealant application, topical fluoride application,
atraumatic restorative treatments and preventive resin restoration were done for the patients
in the Department of Public Health Dentistry. In the Department of Periodontics and
Pedodontics, scaling and treatment were done, respectively. In addition, oral hygiene
instruction was given to all the patients who attended the treatment camp, dental kits were
also provided to the students , and the queries from the participants were sorted out
individually in detail. All participants were given the white card with the op number from the
OPD for their future consultations.
The students seemed cheerful to participate and interacted with us to know more about oral
health and how to maintain it. The respected school staff gave positive feedback and
thanked us and the college for such a service.
