CAMP ORGANIZED WITH Dr. MGR CANTONMENT BOARD HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, ST. THOMAS MOUNT

 National Dentist Day camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram along with Mrs. Dhanalakshmi, Headmaster, Dr. MGR Cantonment Board High School, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai on 06/03/2023, Monday. Oral screening was done for the participants of class VII, VIII and IX. Brushing technique was explained to the patients and the participants also did the brushing technique on the tooth model. Oral hygiene instructions were given to all the participants. Importance of using mechanical and chemical plaque control methods were demonstrated with the model. A dental kit with toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and mouthwash was distributed to the school children to incentivise better oral hygiene habits. Participants raised questions about their oral cavity problems and answers were given for each participant.
